Kyusendo is one of Kyushu’s largest limestone caves, offering both a standard walking course and an adventure exploration course.

Standard Walking Course

– A relaxed circular route –

After passing through a cool tunnel, visitors encounter clear underground water and a vertical shaft that once connected the cave to the surface. As you proceed deeper, you will enjoy impressive stalactites and rock formations formed over approximately 300 million years. This is a circular course that can be explored at a relaxed pace in about 30 minutes.

Adventure Course

– An underground adventure –

An exploration challenge reaching 200 meters underground

Equipped with rubber boots and a helmet, participants explore deep underground areas where cold, crystal-clear water flows. The cave’s underground water eventually feeds into the Kuma River. This powerful natural artwork, shaped over 300 million years, offers a truly unforgettable experience.

Adventure Course Fee (Approx. 60 minutes)

Flat Rate ¥800 (Admission fee required separately)

Reservations are not required for individual visitors.
Groups of 10 or more are requested to make a reservation in advance.
Providing boot sizes at the time of reservation will help ensure smooth entry.
